    Vilaro donates painting to NYC Fire Department

    It may not be known to a lot of people, but famed Uruguayan artist and sculptor Carlos Paez Vilaro actually donated to the New York City Fire Department an original work inspired by the 9/11 attacks.

    The turnover of the painting was done way back in October at the artist's studio in Punta del Este. Also present in the turnover was US Ambassador to Uruguay Frank Baxter.
