Mario Orlando Hamlet Hardy Brenno Benedetti one of the greatest poet of Uruguay passed away by the age of 88. In his writing career, he had published more than 80 books. He established himself as a writer when he wrote La Vispera Indeleble on 1945. One of his work, La Tregua even turned into a film. When Benedetti wrote for political change, he was forced to leave Uruguay. By 1983 he managed to move back and as he grew old he develops chronic asthma, in 2006 his wife Luz Lopez died. And before his death, Benedetti in his poem have gave instruction of putting a Biro in his coffin. More of the story on the link below.
